Traditional hand‑engraving is the art of cutting designs directly into metal using nothing more than hand‑held tools, a steady grip, and years of practiced control. Instead of lasers or rotary bits, the engraver uses hardened steel gravers - tiny chisels shaped for different cuts - to carve lines, textures, and shading one stroke at a time. Depth, angle, and pressure determine how the light will catch the metal, which is why true hand‑engraving has a distinctive life and dimensionality that machine processes can’t replicate. Because every line is physically carved, traditional hand‑engraving becomes part of the metal itself, giving each piece a permanence, character, and individuality that feels almost alive.

However, any item made of metals such as gold, silver, brass, pewter, as well as some grades of titanium and stainless steel can be hand-engraved.
